My Downshift

My name is Simon and this is the story of my journey on the downshifting path. According to the Oxford dictionary Downshift is a verb chiefly N. Amer. 1 change to a lower gear. 2 change to a less stressful lifestyle. That's what I am aiming for. After 20 years working in the City I seek a more fulfilled and balanced lifestyle for myself and family. That doesn't mean giving it all up ala Tom and Barbara Good, but I am making some changes, check out my first post, The Story So Far...

Monday 28th August 2006

Not strictly a downshift day as it's a bank holiday. Ran some errands and went to my parents for the afternoon and evening. The girls are staying for a couple of days as SJ and I are both at work Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. They'll have fun and we don't have to worry about childcare...good stuff all round.
